Waste Collection Service

Health, Safety, Environmental and Security Policies4 fixed tanks with a total capacity of 600 m3 are located in the Waste Collection Facility within the port area.

Under Waste Collection Services; petrol and petrol based wastes (bilge water, sludge, waste oils) which are created as a result of the vessels normal operation, toxic liquid material wastes (vegetable oil), waste water, vessel garbage and cargo wastes are collected and stored temporarily at the facility. Following decomposition and refinement operations, they are sent to recycling/disposal facilities licenced by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation.
